My return to teaching has been gradual this last couple of years.  I had taught many years ago but children and work had made the schedule crazy and I had to set it aside.  I hadn't realized how much I had missed the process.  It is such a thrill sharing and watching students gain skill and confidence.  Some days I learn as much from my students as I hope they learn from me.

 Free Motion Quilting Workshop

Everyone who knows me, knows it usually takes an international flight or emergency to get me out of bed at 5am.  This past Saturday saw my husband and I not only up but on the road to Sussex, NB before the sun had risen.  We finally went to see the sunrise lift off of the Balloons in the annual Balloon Festival.  Why it took us so long is beyond me.  It was amazing!
